The existing conditions presented a split level apartment with galley kitchen and drywall covering the existing structure. For this 1,000 square foot gut apartment renovation, we opened up the kitchen to create an L-shaped food prep and eating space, and stripped away the existing drywall to reveal exquisite wood beams and columns harking back to the building's history as a commercial space.
