We have been commissioned by the Putti Village Assitance Prganization (PVAO) to design a new synagogue complex for the KKSY (Kahal Kadosh She'rith Yisrael) Jewish Community in Uganda. The synagogue  design will be based on the Spanish and Portuguese  Western Sephardic liturgy practiced by the KKSY congregation, and look  to the 1675 Portuguese Synagogue in Amsterdam, among other Western Sephardic congregational buildings, in addition to local Ugandan building construction materials and techniques as reference.
