Bushkill overflow
Bushkill Overflow invokes the power and ingenuity of the waterways coursing through Easton, Pennsylvania, recalling their flow and portage through the heart of the city's industrial heritage. The wending assembly of spindly eight-pointed steel umbrella frames is suspended from the open-air trusswork at Arts Plaza on North 3rd Street, along the true course of the Bushkill Creek underfoot, as both a tangible revelation of the city's accumulated waterborne debris and as a still-life embodiment of the water's flow.

Discarded steel umbrella frames, steel cable.
